Hello there! My name is Sarah Miera.

I am an artist from New Mexico. I loved growing up there, exploring the wild desert and finding an appreciation for the things that make it up to be what it is. I grew up learning both Spanish and English, as my grandpa's side of the family has lived in New Mexico since before the United states was even around, and his first language was Spanish. The culture and  is an important part of me.

I am fascinated by people, culture, and the beauty of nature and emotion. ​I especially love portraits and illustrations for children. I love being able to share joy with other people. Whether it is portraits, children's books, or just a pretty picture, every piece has meaning inside of it. I have found that art has the power to share stories, and inspire thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Knowing that I can share something meaningful and inspire those around me is what drives me forward as an artist.
